Since 2017, the world has celebrated International Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Day to recognition of their universal positive impact on economic growth, local jobs and innovation, and promoting sustainable development, as these businesses make up an essential part of our economic systems.
In India, with approximately 75 million MSMEs, micro, small and medium manufactures, exporters, suppliers and service providers are how India is largely driven through its manufacturing and services sectors. MSMEs all contribute positively to the same economy, measured by GDP, Export Base, and Employment in places throughout India.
What is International MSME Day?

International Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Day has been designated a day to recognize the dedicated role of micro, small, and medium enterprises in achieving each area of the United Nations' sustainable development goals.
