To recognize these businesses, TradeIndia hosted the TradeIndia Bharat SME Excellence Awards – Gujarat Edition on 30th May 2026 at the Forum Hotel, Ahmedabad. The evening brought together 300+ business leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts from across the state to celebrate the achievements of these SMEs.Sonu Sood, a celebrated Actor and humanitarian, was invited as the chief guest to honor the awardees with the awards. He was accompanied by actor Naresh Gosain. Together, they honored 70+ SMEs for their contribution to the Indian business world. The TradeIndia Bharat SME Excellence Award was supported by esteemed partners – ECOMAN, NATIONAL POWER INDUSTRIES and MESCO WELDMESH INDUSTRIES.

Gujarat Edition 2026: A Celebration of Excellence
The TradeIndia Bharat SME Excellence – Gujarat Edition award was a huge celebration. With 300+ attendees from different industries, it was an excellent platform for knowledge sharing and networking through 15 exhibition stalls. The stalls gave the businessmen to connect with each other and explore business opportunities.
The show began with high team and networking over stalls, audience engagement activities such as AI photobooth and interview bytes corner. After an hour of successful networking and engagement, the main show began. It kicked off with a welcome note by Mr. Sandip Chhettri, CEO, TradeIndia.com followed by a graceful Ganesh Vandana setting up the tone for the evening.
Award Categories
The Bharat SME Excellence Awards recognized 70+ businesses across categories. The major categories included Business Leadership, Manufacturing Excellence, Fastest Growing SME, Innovation and Excellence, and Emerging SME of the Year.

What made this night more special was the presence of Sonu Sood, whose journey of compassion and service has inspired millions across the country. Many business leaders were awarded by Sonu Sood. His presence and engagement with the audience made the Gujarat Edition a little extra special. Additionally, Naresh Gosain, a celebrated actor in the Bollywood industry, joined the celebration.

Fireside Chat: Digital Transformation for SMEs
A productive session talking about digital transformation and artificial intelligence was moderated by Sandip Chhettri with the sponsors. This panel discussed how SMEs have adapted to the digital transformation and what the future holds for them. The conversation started a discusion gave out some interesting points on using AI and digital tools in today's time.
