Product Features
- Vertical Axis Drop Control During Power Fail: Our product Power Out Sensor (POS) is a digital electronic controller, which senses the power failure in advance and switches the machine into the emergency mode before power failure. While in the emergency mode, the machine axis is brought under servo control, hence preventing the drop in the vertical axis. This prevents harm to the machine spindle, cutting tool, and components
- Memory Corruption/Component Failure: The possibility of PCB failure/memory corruption due to abnormal power failure pattern is eliminated to a great extent by the use of power out sensors
- Collision During Axis Movement at Rapid Feed & Power Fail (Available in POS 22/POS 44 only): If the power failure occurs, when the machine axis is moving at rapid feed, the chances of the axis overshooting due to the momentum are extremely high. In such a circumstance, the tool may hit the component or a machine part and cause a lot of damage. This problem is well taken care of by the power out sensor (POS), by discharging the residual DC bus voltage in the axis drive through discharge resistors during power failure
- Vertical Axis Lift up During Power Failure: We offer vertical axis lift up or zero drop during power failures as an optional feature at an additional cost in the Fanuc 1 series CNC system.
