Gold leaf electroscope

An metal rectangular case has a clear glass sliding front and ground glass back. A brass wire has a gold leaf attached to the lower end and a brass disc/bob at the top. This apparatus fitted on the Bakelite base. A notched scale is provided against which the gold leaf moves. Earth socket is provided on the side of the case.
