| Description |
It is a ground endosperm of the seed of plant Obtusifolia. The pure endosperm obtained is milled to produce Gum Cassia.
Cassia Gum is used in the below applications:
Food: As a viscosity modifier and as a thickening and gelling agent
Pet food: As a stabilizing and gelling agent
Textiles: As a print paste thickener
Air freshener: As a gelling agent
