Due to various reason voltage fluctuations from our state board is inevitable in most of the industrial as well as residential areas. Operating at such varying voltages which can either be higher or lower then the actual required 400V 415V can lead to increase in energy losses, so also can it affect the life of the electrical equipments. The increase in failure rate of electrical equipments is mainly due to high/low voltage; hence by controlling the same with a high efficient voltage controller we can reduce the breakdowns upto 70% and can also save on energy bill upto 10% on inductive load and 15-25% on lighting load. Moreover by regulating the voltage using a high efficient voltage controller you can also have a reduction of upto 10% on your MDI and also improve your Power Factor (by controlling high voltage).
Hence it is equally important to understand the requirement of a Voltage Controller not for your one or two machines, but your entire plant. High efficient voltage controllers having an efficiency of 99% and above are available upto 7000KVA, which can be installed at the mains of your factory and hence give constant voltage to your entire plant.
The best option for Units having Unbalanced input voltage or units having a constant high / low voltage or even both is to install Servo Voltage Stabilizer with Individual phase Control.
