Isolation Transformers:
When you have installed sophisticated machines with electronic controls and if there are Spikes / Surges in the power supply the set parameters of electronic controls are disturbed and time and again have failures. The modern sophisticated machines with electronic controls need a truly isolated clean and stable power supply which can be ensured by using Isolation transformers.
The switching of electrical utilities such as capacitors, MCCBs, ACBs, thyristors, welding machines etc. Create lot of disturbances in the power supply system in the form of Surges, Transients, Spikes, Harmonics, etc. which affects the normal functioning of these microprocessor based machines.
So Isolation Transformers designed with split winding construction (with shielding) isolates the primary and secondary winding, filtering the disturbances i.e. spikes/surges in the power supply system to larger extend. The Isolation Transformer has Delta/Star connections and it generates its own Neutral.
There is no need of State Electricity board neutral connection for supply to these machines. We have supplied number of Isolation Transformers to different industries and customers have confirmed that the problem of their electronic controls failure has almost eliminated.
