| Description |
Taraflet-FG is a glass fibre bituminous waterproofing felt conforming to IS 7193/1994 Gr. Special grade oxidized bitumen is used for impregnating coating fibre glass.
Uses:
Taraflet-FG is recommended as per SI code of practice IS: 1346/76. They are suited for various types of surfaces such as concrete, corrugated, osbestos of GI sheet, timber, shell/folded plate etc. They are ideal for waterproofing of silos, grains godown and warehouses, wagons, trams, buses etc.
Selection of Specification:-
Specification regarding the nature of treatment should be decided depending on the type of structure and climatic conditions. For example, in severe climate conditions a heavy/extra heavy treatment should be adapted.
