SUPERTHERM SA:
Supertherm SA photo developing chemical is a phenolic color developer in ready to use, milled aqueous dispersion form.

Application and principal use:
Supertherm SA is suitable for use as a color developer in most grades of thermal paper, where high image density is required.
* Produces an image with high image density.
* Produces an image with good stability towards light.
* Can be used for the production of both black and coloured thermal images.
Typical Properties
Appearance : White to off white aqueous dispersion
Viscosity : 80 85 CPS
Solids Content : 40% +/- 1
Particle Size : Average < 2 microns
Shelf Life : 6 Months
Packing : 200 kgs Net in drums
Application
Supertherm SA is a ready-to-use milled aqueous dispersion as such it offers the advantages of direct incorporation into the thermal coating formulation without any milling,this means lower energy and manpower savings.
The performance can be enhanced by careful choice of base substrate. When selecting base papers, surface properties such as water hold out, porosity and smoothness should be assessed since the characteristics of the substrate can have a significant effect on image density.
The optimum coat wt varies depending on the required image density, but is generally in the range of 0.7 1.5 g/m2 of dry coating.
The product can be diluted in any ratio with water in order to control the applied coat weight.
