Pre-Engineered Buildings as the very name suggests is pre detailed and pre designed which is manufactured in a quality controlled factory atmosphere. At this stage each process is carried out employing sophisticated technologies that include the application of advanced welding techniques and standardization of components. Such procedures facilitate mass production.
PEB construction is 30 to 40 % faster than the conventional or masonry construction.
A Pre-Engineered Building is well suited for India with its tropical climate as it provides good insulation effects.
PEB is ideal for construction in remote areas and hilly terrains as a major part of the construction activities are carried out at factory level.
In PEB constructions, high strength steel is used for better strength/weight ratio.
