2BF LIQUID OPTICAL WHITENER FOR COTTON & PAPER (C.I.NO.220)

2BF Liquid is liquid optical whitener for paper and gives optimum results particularly in the following application.

USES:

* In the mass
o Unsized papers
o Sized papers where the PH of the dilution or white water is above 5.5 with low loading (up to 5% ash content)
* In surface coating
o With starch solutions CMC etc.
o With pigmented coatings on a starch latex base.

APPEARANCE SOLUBILITY:

2BF liquid is a clear pale yellowish liquid of low viscosity with a specific gravity of 1.18 It can be diluted with water in all proportions.

The liquid formelimanates a possible source of errors, by dispensing with the process of dissolving with hot water.

Solution of 2BF Liquid is practically unaffected by hard water, stock solutions of up to 10 gm/termain stable for several days if kept in closed stainless containers and way from light. A solution of 1 gm/1 2BF Liquid has a pH of 7-8.

STORAGE: 2BF Liquid remains stable for up to an year kept in a cool, dry Place away from light.
