Important components and their main features are as under : -


LIFTING CHAIN: Wear resistance, heart treated, Gr. 80, IS-6216 special Alloy
Steel load chain. The chain calibrated & tested.


GEARS: Precision hob cut Spur Gears running on antifriction ball
bearings are very silent and having maximum running efficiency. The Gears are lubricated with high viscosity and high temperature resistant grease. The gears are housed in dust-proof cast housing & ensure no further lubrication.

MOTOR : The motor will be classB insulation, IP 55 enclosure, TEFC, Hoist duty confirming to IS 325, s-3, 40% CDF, sq. cage
A.C.

BRAKE: The brake is A.C. Electromagnetic Fail to Safe type mounted on input shaft. The brake is independent of motor assembly. Hence very easy to adjust, operate or replace. This is unique feature of Safex CUB Electric Chain Hoist.

HOOK: Forged steel hook confirms to IS 3815 and tested as per
Indian Dock Regulation Act. Hooks are provided with safety latch as standard feature.

LIMIT SWITCHES: Limit switches are provided for over hoisting & over lowering.

PUSH BUTTON STATION : Heavy duty P.B. Station designed for easy operation, operates on 110 Volts.

CONTROL PANEL: A control panel consisting of air break contactors step down, transformer, limit switch assembly is housed in air tight
enclosure.
TEST: The chain hoist is tested at 25% overload before dispatch and test certificate is given with respective machine no.
