The manufacturing process is based on state of art technology of pressurized esterification of phthalic anhydride with alcohol i.e. methanol.

Di-Methyl Phthalate C6H4(COOCH3)2, CAS NO. (131-11-3), commonly referred as D.M.P, is a stable ester.
