Biosurf NS shall exhibit following advantages.
Produces Thick, White Stable Emulsion with Excellent Freeze-Thaw Stability
Can be easily diluted by the farmer prior to use.
Has very good wetting properties (Less than 20 Seconds by Drave's Test); therefore leaf wetting & spreading is superior during foliar spray.

Addition of Biosurf NS assists in the formation of a Water in Oil Emulsion initially during formulation. i.e., water droplets (Dispersed Phase) are finely dispersed in the Oil phase (Nitrobenzene), which is the continuous phase.

As soon as the Formulation is mixed in water (dilution) the Anions change position from the water globules forming water as the continuous phase and nitrobenzene is broken up into fine droplets forming the dispersed phase. This phenomenon is known as phase inversion in Surfactant Chemistry.

This particular phase inversion technique is adopted in Biosurf NS, which exhibits following advantages.

Nitrobenzene been the continuous phase & water been the dispersed phase, the Formulated material does not separate on prolonged storage or due to temperature changes.
The Formulation has considerably high viscosity.
On phase inversion after dilution the Nitrobenzene droplets are so finely divided that absorption into the plant cells after spray is very effective.
Leaf wetting and spreading properties are equivalent to APSA 80. Foliar adhesion property is excellent.
