Basic Magenta :
A Basic Triphenyl dye (T.P.M.) manufactured from aniline, othotoluidine and formaldehyde, It is marketed in Powder form. The Product confirms in shade, brilliance and strenght with any of the available standard commercial sample. It is soluble in cold and hot water and very soluble iethanol.
Applications :
a )
Textile - Ita can be used for dyeing cotton, silk and wool and in printing for direct tanning styles. It can be used for dyeing on a discharged tannin mordant.
b) Leather - It can be used on chrome, semi-chrome and vegetable tannages.
c) Pigments - It can be converted into usual P.M.A. and P.T.M.A. pigments.
