Selecting the appropriate light source is as important as choosing the right RVI instrument. The Olympus light source range offers an extensive choice to meet most needs.

For examination of large cavities or where CCTV or photography is required, the metal halide arc lamp ILH-2 light source will provide excellent results. Where improved portability is important the 12V ILK-D1 and ILK-D2 can be belt mounted, whilst the ILK-7A is able to operate from a variety of power supplies, both AC and DC.

For applications where only a single power supply is envisaged, the ILK-7 and ILK-7B provide the most economic solutions, and when using Olympus Industrial video scopes or CCTV, the ILH-2 can be used as a combination unit for maximum versatility and portability. The high-intensity KLS-4250S is certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, and the range also includes a light source for ultra-violet transmission.
