Freudenberg Politex group is based in Milan, Italy. It is the world leader in the production and marketing of high quality polyester nonwovens and building materials. The product range includes staple and spunbond nonwovens. The Indian representative of the group is J.R.Nonwovens and Waterproofing based in Bangalore.
The product Texbond R 40 is a polyester nonwoven felt that has been developed specially for liquid chemical waterproofing. It is based on technology developed by the Freudenberg Politex Group through continuous research and more than 30 years of experience in the waterproofing market.
The material is a 40 GSM polyester nonwoven reinforced with glass filament for additional strength.
Advantages:
- High absorption capability, absorbs the waterproofing chemicals quickly;
- High tensile strength, material does not break or damage easily
- Longer life for the waterproofing system due to superior strength and elongation properties
- Increases thickness of membrane, thus less liquid chemicals are needed for a membrane of the same thickness, saving costs
The material is manufactured in Italy. Ready stocks are available in Bangalore in rolls starting from about 300 square metres. The width of the rolls is 1 metre.
