Bulldozer DET-2502 is diesel-electric bulldozer of drawbar category 25 with the electric mechanical transmission providing the tractive effort automotive adjustment all over speed range.

Bulldozer DET-2502 is designed to perform the earth moving operations during the construction of the hydraulic engineering work, irrigation and reclamation structures, railways, highways as well as projects of metal mining, oil, coal, building, timber industries.

Bulldozer is characterized with high capacity of the diesel plant, fuel economy, stepless electromechanics transmission and higher flotation ability.

Electromechanics transmission provides the stepless speed changing and tractive effort depending on the outer load.

The increasing of bulldozer tractive effort is provided by means of elastic roller suspensions. They allow to increase the surface of track contact with ground when running over the uneven surface.

The undercarriage elastic suspension makes the control and operation easy and comfortable as well as decreases the operator fatigability during the operations.

The cab is metal, three-seat, pressurized with heat and sound insulation, equipped with forced blowing ventilation and air heating. A spot light is installed on the roof of the cab.
