Spectron SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supplies) are available from 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, 28, 42, 48 & 56 Volts in 1 to 1,500 Watts output. Other voltages in single and dual outputs are available on request for batch quantities. SMPS with multiple outputs in various standard and non-standard voltages can also be made against specific requirements in batch quantities.
All models of this series are designed with latest integrated circuit technology to achieve excellent efficiency, good line & load regulation, decent stability, ripple & noise. All models are protected against overload & short-circuit by constant efficiency / constant power current limiting circuitry. Optional over voltage protection is available on request. Adequate precautions are taken for EMI / EMC, wherever critical / specified.
The construction, dimensions and terminations are designed as per respective Power Supply rating to make it easy for mounting & connections, as per requirements of customers. These SMPS are manufactured in enclosed cabinet, open frame, plug-in card versions or encapsulated power modules. The encapsulated modules are manufactured since 2002 in hermetically sealed construction to withstand JSS 55555 environmental specifications for use mainly in Defence sector.
