Do we need a space in industrial area to assemble watches or it can be done in a commercial area as the procedure of assembly of watches is totally Non Polluting and is labour intensive. Also please let me know what excise laws are applicable on the assembly of watches. Please advice.
It will depend on the activities undertaken to assemble the watches and processes involved. Manufacture of watches, spare parts and accessories needs an industrial licence. If you detail out the processes you intend to use in assembly, we will be able to advise you.

I have just enrolled to MBA Distance learning Programme offered by ICFAI university since I am working in New Delhi. Also paid all fees (Rs. 30,000) but due to some official reasons I am unable to pursue the course and want withdraw from the university. But they are not ready to refund my fees instead I have told them to deduct the cancellation charges, etc. So please suggest me what to do for the same?
