NITTO- Japan Drilling Machine has a slow-start mechanism to ensure a smooth cut through the mill scale and prevents cutters from breaking. Automatic control and feed are activated by simply pushing the rod handle to engage the gears. The dual sensing system responds to both drilling and feeding forces on the cutter for the optimum cutting conditions. The feed speed is continuously monitored and updated proportionally to the load of the cutter. After the cut has finished, the detector responds and stops both the drill and feed motor. Coolant is into the heart of the cut and is fed directly to the inside of the cut. The coolant system also features an auto shut-off.
