GULUN Chlorodifluoromethane (R502) is a colorless, non-toxic, non-flammable and transparent liquefied gas. It has excellent thermal and chemical properties, and not corrode metals, Chlorodifluoromethane is used as pure or in mixture for refrigeration (medium-high temperatures), raw material for PTFE and intermediate for Halon 1211 production. It is also a blowing agent for extruded polystyrene and polyurethane foams.
