H-PU is a hydrolysis-resistant, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer. It combines the engineering properties of PU with a high resistance to hydrolysis which is otherwise rarely found in polyurethane. It is stable in water up to +90°c (hydrolysis is degradation in water). Because of its resistance to hydrolysis, H-PU can be used for water hydraulic applications in mining, tunnel constructions, press manufacturing & the food industry. It is particularly recommended for use in pure water, HFA & HFB fluids & biologically degradable hydraulic fluids
