Features of Short-Term Gas Detector Tubes :
* Consist of a solid carrier material impregnated witt Info (PDF 44 KB)h sensing chemicals sealed in a glass tube with tapered tips.
* When a fixed volume of sample air containing the target gas is drawn through the tube by means of a UNIPHOS Precision Air Sampling Pump, a discolored stain develops.
* Stain length is calibrated to directly read the target gas concentration in ppm, percentage or mg / m3 on the tube scale.
* Tubes are available for NH3, H2S, SO2, Cl2, PH3, HCl, HCN, CO, CO2, CS2, C6H6 and many other gases & vapors.
