Marble Inlay is an art in which master craftsmen chisels the marble piece to make beautiful designs like tendrils, floral arabesques, trellis, creeper etc. in it and then semi-precious stones like Lapis Lazuli, Indian Jade, Jasper, Mother of Pearl, Malachite, Carnelian etc. are embedded in the marble. This a very traditional art and the whole process requires lot of patience and accuracy.
