It comes between the operating voltage of 150 V to 280 V AC and the features of these switches are:
• The connected load is automatically shifted on mains, on resumption of main supply
• Automatic engine switch off system for portable generators either running on petrol or kerosene when main supply is resumed
• Improved circuit design enables the relay to be in 'On' position only while the genset is in use
• While functioning on main supply the relay remains in 'Off' position
• Minimal switchover time for main supply so that even sensitive equipments like computers do not get disconnected during the switch over
