In fact, the facilities can be used for about 30 years without replacement. JUSUNG ENGINEERING has completed the development of a silicon solar cell manufacturing device by applying and expanding the LCD device and semiconductor technology that has been earning raves in the global market.</li>

<p><strong>Equipment for Single, Poly-crystal Solar Cell</strong></p>

<li>By cell structure, the solar cell can be divided into crystalline silicon and thin film solar cell.<br />For the poly-crystal solar cell, the supply of silicon as its raw material ran out and growth rate has slowed down temporarily as demand increased. To address this problem, studies focus on the thin film poly-crystal solar cell for a thinner silicon substrate and the maximization of energy conversion efficiency.<br />The technology of treating the surface that absorbs photochemical energy is quite important in improving energy conversion efficiency. Such type of precise surface treatment process requires dry etching technology that can treat several large area substrates at the same time.</li>
<li>JUSUNG ENGINEERING developed the dry etching equipment and PECVD equipment for treating a number of wafers using precise large area plasma control technology as well as highly efficient PECVD SiN deposition equipment. <br />The key equipment in the solar cell manufacturing process, texturing equipment and passivation equipment, are capable of treating the 125x125mm substrate and 156x156mm and 200x200mm substrates for future mass production based on JUSUNG ENGINEERING's large area treatment technology.</li>

<p><strong>Equipment for the Amorphous Silicon Solar Cell </strong></p>

<li>Since the amorphous silicon solar cell manufacturing process is almost the same as the TFT-LCD manufacturing process, the platform technology in the LCD industry serves as a very important factor in dominating the amorphous silicon solar cell industry. The unit membrane of the amorphous silicon solar cell consists of the p/i/n a-Si layer and TCO and Metal layers.<br />To date, JUSUNG ENGINEERING has already supplied mass production equipment to major LCD production lines worldwide. Such technological strength also enabled JUSUNG ENGINEERING to complete the development of device technology for manufacturing the unit membrane for the amorphous silicon solar cell. <br />In addition, JUSUNG ENGINEERING is exerting all-out efforts to develop cell integration process technology for the production of highly efficient amorphous silicon solar cell.</li>
