The basic use of Niton portable XRF Analyzer in the metal industry is to get fastest results of the chemical composition in alloys and the lowest cost per analysis. The Niton instrument is not used for certification purpose, it is used for sorting scraps, PMI (Positive Material Identification), Cross reference purpose etc. After taking reading with Niton Analyzer, you can down load the test results in your PC for your internal purpose. Niton analyzer can provide 2 Sigma, 95% confidence level of results with repeatability and reliability.

Please note that there is no portable handheld XRF analyzer which can check Carbon.

Niton instruments are factory calibrated for Ferrous and Non ferrous materials and following elements can be checked with our Niton Alloy Analyzer.
