India belongs to hot climatic zone. During day time (10am to 5pm) solar radiations heating-up concrete slabs & other types of building roofing. This results in the transmissions of part of energy by conduction. Balance energy is stored in the concrete slabs. The conduction of the energy depends upon temperature differences & the type of insulation materials applied in the building. When sun goes down, the atmospheric temperature starts coming down. This starts reverse heat transfer from the heated objects (here our concrete slab) by radiation . Heat transferby radiation takes place inside & outside of building. Heat transfer by radiation takes place through vacuums OR air gaps!
