Inflated Extruded Snacks provide a wide variety of colors, shapes, textures and flour used. A variety of flour can be used for making inflated extruded snacks. The moistened flour is fed to the extruder and the extruded meal coming out of the extruder get cut and shaped as per the final shape of the snacks. The shaped pellets go to the dryer to reduce the moisture content. Flavor and seasoning is sprayed on the dried pellets by the flavoring system.
