This is a non-silicone based detergent.

With regular detergents, lot of foaming takes place. Hence, to remove traces of detergent lot of water is required to rinse the dishes to make them free from soap. Nofdet is non-sticky & requires less rinsing. Thus, it helps in conserving water.
