The use of higher strength steel reduces the diameter of reinforced bars without reducing the strength of the reinforced concrete. Due to the economic reasons(Saving of steel as well as saving of cost) the lower dia high strength deformed steel bars are the ideal alternative to conventional TMT bars.
TRICON is manufactured in sizes 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8.70mm & 10.45mm which are alternatives of normal rod/TMT of sizes 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm & 12mm. The tolerance limit of sectional weight is only +/-0.5% in TRICON, unlike +/-7% for TMT bars resulting in considerable savings for the end users.
TRICON bars can be used as general purpose concrete reinforcement in all types of reinforced concrete construction, specially in slabs, stirrups & rings. It can be used in combination of any grade of concrete like M-15, M-20 and M-25 with economy, structural safety and strength.
