Air peat can last three times longer than peat, giving you more organic matter in your soil, for a longer time. It is superior in nutrient and water holding abilities. It contains high percentage of lignin and cellulose. It holds 8-9 times its weight in water and comes with a balanced pH of 5.7-6.8. In addition to that, it is an excellent hydroponics and it has good absorbency of water as well as it helps to keep nutrients and fertilizers being used in minimal amount. It is also resistant to bacterial and fungal growth which minimizes the risk of contamination.
