This jolt test appratus is used during development & production of Fuzes to check the safety & ruggedness of the Fuze Design. Device for Testing of Ammunition by jolting to specification GOST 1564-69.
The Test consists of jolting a Fuze for 1750 times in each of the three orientation making a total of 5250 jolts or drops from a height of 4"onto a leather padded wooden Anvil. The Fuze shall be completely assembled including all explosive elements that are part of the fuze design. The Fuze is not required to be operable during or after the testbut must remain safe. This machine has been used for many years to establish the safety & general ruggedness of fuze designs under severe conditions of transportation.
Loading Capacity- Upto 20 Kgs. including fixtures/or packing.
