Dry Gas Seals : Type XB
Dry Gas Seals is a externally mounted, Reversed balanced, independent of direction of rotation, with 'O' Ring as secondary sealing member. Seal face materials and elastomers can be selected from various material for a wide range of applications. This seal can also be used on extremely corrosive duties including acids, salts, active organic compounds, strong oxidizing and reducing agents. As this seal is externally mounted all metallic components doesn't come in contact with pumping liquid to be sealed ie. Retainer, Springs, Thrust Ring etc.
