Badges are the sign of recognition of a unit or wing etc., to which an individual belongs. It can be from the Armed forces, Police, or any other institution. Mostly badges are worn over some attire like: uniforms, coats or caps.

In earlier times, these badges used to be handmade in embroidery with Zari and Metal threads, but now along with this, as the technology has changed with time, the machine embroidery concept and computerized label concept in badges has also been introduced.
