It is single screw Extruder machine with in line equipments like Dies, Cooling/Sizing Mandrel, Guides, Winder, Control Panel for producing EPE sheets from 1-8mm thickness dn 1500mm width.
The Extruder melts the LDPE resin and also mixes the physical blowing gas, usually, butane, at high pressure inside the barrel and the gas laden mix is extruded out of annular die. It expands immediately, superficially due to blowing gas and is drawn on the cooling/sizing mandrel to form foam tube. The tube is slit in line to obtain a single layer foam sheet which is guided through to suitable winder. Typical product density obtainable is 20 Kg/cu.m.
With some modification, the machine can be used for producing EPE foam rods, tube and foam netting also.
Machine is offered in output capacities 40 Kg/hour to 200 Kgs/hour.
