» Ranthambore National Park - Located in the Sawai Madhopur district, the Ranthambore National Park was established in the year 1955. In 1973, it came under the Project Tiger Scheme and was declared a national park in 1980. With an area of 1334 sq. km., the park houses a range of wildlife including the tiger. It is one of the best place to spot tigers in the broad day light. Besides, one can also see chital, leopard, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, sambars, sloth bear on a large number. The park is also home to around 270 bird species including several migratory. Best time to visit is between October to April.
Tiger - Sariska Tiger Reserve» Sariska Tiger Reserve -The tiger reserve was established in the year 1958 and came under the Project Tiger Scheme in 1979. Spanning over an area of 800 sq. km., the park houses tigers, leopard, chital, four-horned antelope, wild dogs, chinkara or Indian gazelles etc. November to June is the ideal time to visit the sanctuary.
» Keoladeo Ghana National Park - It is one of the best known bird sanctuaries of India located in the Bharatpur district. It is home to a large variety of bird species including thousands of migratory. It offers an chance to see a number of migratory birds including some from Siberia and China. Some important bird species of the park, which can be spotted easily include cranes, egrets, pelicans, stork, eagles, grey horn etc. October to March and July to August is the most suitable period to visit the park.
