CAP STRIP (8 mm to 12 mm adjustable width) is spirally applied over the "BELTS" in Radial tyres in order to train dimensional stability & better uniformity which enhance the performance of Radial tyres because of lower conicity & good uniformity.

Maan Machine Tools has designed, manufactured & supplied state of art machine to J.K Tyres, one of the leading manufacture of radial Tyres at their Banmore Unit (Gwalior) to produce CAP STRIP.

SALIENT FEATURES :
Speed : 0 to 30 mtrs., can be designed even for higher speed.
Entire Equipment is mounted on a common base frames in two parts. This helps easy erection and commissioning.
All rollers are hard chrome plated.
Self lubricating bearings are used.
Silicon oil lubricated maintenance free gear boxes are used (Bonfiglioli-ltalian Make)
All pneumatics Cylinders and Solenoid valves are of International make.
Operating air pressure : 6 kg per sq.cm.
Electrical : 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 cycles system. Machine wiring is done with multi pin plug & Socket. This helps in faster installation and commissioning. Field wiring is minimized using bus cables and profibus cables.
