The introduction of two new specialized models marks Usha's foray into this segment, which traditionally has been dominated by foreign brands. Usha's entry now offers India garment exporters the full service option - an established brand name, as well as the assurance of nation-wide presence. Together, the Single Needle Lockstitch and the Five Thread Over lock machines contribute to more than 80% of the high speed industrial segment, and this will serve as the focus of Usha's initial marketing efforts in this segment.
