The filter press is a separation device that utilize feed pressure or squeeze pressure to reduce the liquid content. These filters comprises of recessed plates in an alternate arrangement. The filter medium is provided in between the plates. Feeding pump is used to force the liquid through medium leaving the solid residue on the filter band.
