INDIRECT METHOD using the grid and paper can make it easier and faster to put a uniform grid of tile on a wall or floor. It is done as follows:
1) Glass mosaic tile are glued FACE-DOWN on the paper using diluted Weld bond adhesive (3 parts water to 1 part Weldbond). Use a light coat to avoid wrinkling the paper.
2) Allow the paper to dry 24 hours.
3) Apply adhesive or tile mastic to the wall.
4) Press tiles onto the glue-covered wall with the PAPER ON THE OUTSIDE.
5) Allow the tile mastic to cure for 24 hours.
6) Mist the paper until it is soaked and peel it off the tiles.
7) Grout the mosaic.
