CASINGS : Steel fabricated duly stress relieved or cast iron, inoculated for grain refinement to prevent seepage of oil.
GEARING : The gear and pinions are double helical designed to obtain gradual application of load on each teeth to limit specific friction and to give the tooth base a good stiffness. The teeth cutting is done maintaining Span (measurement over teeth) The pinions are integral or alloy steel shells shrink fitted onto forged shafts.
LUBRICATION : Lubrication lines to bearings and oil splash line onto gears are provided. External lubrication unit comprising of gear pump, filters, heat exchanger can also be supplied.
