EVENT PROFILE:

Our mascot of 'birds sitting on the bark' symbolizes the exhibitors who have come from places far & near and settled on the SINGLE branch of PRINTECH. Come December every couple of years, it is PRINTECH time for Mumbai Mudrak Sangh (MMS). Friends, the time for our avian printer brothers to come and settle once more, on PRINTECH's single branch, draws close. PRINTECH 2009 goes on the floors from the 18-21 December 2009 in Mumbai. With its mission to offer ‘complete solutions for printing, packaging and allied technology', this hugely popular exhibition (one of the biggest in India on printing), has come to be much awaited event for most printers in the country today-with the who's who of the industry showcasing their wares.

India is a democratic and politically stable nation which has adopted economic liberalisation and globalisation in its quest for growth. It is slated to be the 3rd largest economy, trailing behind the USA and China.Today, per capita consumption of Paper & Board is 4.5 Kgs, which is bound to grow exponentially due to increase in literacy & lifestyles. Packaging industry is currently growing at 16% p.a. Indian books and journals are exported to over 120 countries.

In such a scenario, PRINTECH 2009 is the perfect converging point for the vast multitude of print houses.

EXHIBITORS:

In addition to all the P's of printing pre-press, press and post-press, this mega also draws exhibitors form intrinsically related industries like graphic material and supplies, ink and chemicals, design equipment, software and MIS, ancillary products and services.

This all-encompassing show will also facilitate Product launches and Buyer-Seller Meets, thus providing an ideal climate for the industry stalwarts to come together. This time around, a net area of about 7000sq. mtrs. and 200 + exhibitors has much in store for everybody.
