This September, the industry will witness the congregation of three principal trade events viz. ELCOMP India 2008, Embedded India 2008 and Sensor and Test India 2008 at the Pragati Maidan grounds in New Delhi, India. With the primary objective of promotion of worldwide trade in Electronic Goods and Products, the event will provide an international platform to explore the business opportunities in the Indian electronic industry. The three-in-one exhibition will be staged from 10th to 12th September 2008.

The fair is being organized by Exhibitions India Pvt. Ltd., a leading organizer of trade shows in India, in association with Elcina Electronic Industries Association of India. The show will have participation from all over the world that will facilitate one-to-one business meetings and other business promotion activities.

ELCOMP India 2007 was 80% larger than the previous edition, and twice the size of its maiden attempt in 2005. 334 companies (178 Indian and 156 Overseas) from 23 countries participated atthe show with 267 delegates being involved in the two concurrent international conferences held during the exhibition. The conferences highlighted the emerging technologies in the deployment of solar energy. The show earned appreciation of 7,138 visitors from the industry, government, related trade associations and educational institutes.

The Indian electronic industry has come a long way and has an exciting yet challenging road ahead. Market analysts are confident that this show will position the Indian electronics industry on a pedestal at the global level which it very rightfully deserves.
