TOPIC : Establish an Office in India

We are an Australian Group appointed with the administrative and promotional procedure and to export Indian Edible Oil to the Global market. We wish to establish an office in India close to or on the premises of our manufacturer. Can anyone assist with the requirements to do this?
and
What are the tax implications or benefits of establishing that office and also if we invoice direct from India rather than Australia?
and
As we are being proactive in exporting Indian product is there available any assistance, grants or benefits that can be sourced from the government bodies or support organisations either by us or our manufacturer?

Have thought to approach the Indian Embassy in Australia but would like to give this site an opportunity to advise first.

Many thanks to any who can assist or advise in these matters

Re: Establish an Office in India

We are looking to establish an office preferably at our vendor/manufacturers premises or, if not, within close proximity.

As previously mentioned we are exporting their Edible Oils both unrefined and refined to Global markets.

There is no need for us to invest at this time. We simply are looking to establish an office so that we have an office/address in India. [Very much like a virtual office]

It could be that on our literature and stationary, with the permission of our colleague, we put their address as our Indian office and have a specific phone and phone number for our company.
No income will be generated by us as we are the export link/manager for the manufacturer and our income will be derived from the purchaser with monies credited direct outside India.

We are the conduit and the channel to ensure this companies exports get to the specific markets we target.

Thank you again
