Dear all, I'm about to do business with a couple of Chinese companies. Can anyone tell me which is the safer mode of payment to Chinese companies?

Tell me one best book for Foreign trade. I have to learn about foreign trade as I am post graduate in pharmacy but don't have any idea about Foreign trade Please, guide me for the same that what I have to do.

It depends on who are u? r u exporter or importer.
if importer always try to make the payment at least after you know that material has shipped on particular vessel and now traceable

and

in case of exporter, always try to handover the documents only after receipt of payment.

from my point of view safer mode of payment is swift code transfer but you first get smaller amount of payment to be done to check whether supplier is genuine or not.then do bulk trading.

for china part, TT is the most safe way, but you could make your transport safely by shipment
