Re: Export

Dear Mr. Rohit V. Gupta,
my company imports ready made garment. To sell fabrics for Export needs to know what the market outside India needs and this seems a big point. The same as the ready made garment industry, especially the woven garment industry, shows sarees and many local used dress. Because there are many Indians outside which may buy such garment out of tradition but other people will not wear this. The taste in USA is different to Europe or South East Asia. Even between Italian and English it is different. It seems that this is still unknown for the woven Industry. Designers are needed so as software engineers (programmers) are needed for computer. The market where you will sell your fabrics will say what style is needed today. The knitted garment industries understood the wished styles for export but cotton alone is not enough. Missing are different yarns made of man made yarns like polyester or other natural fibres linen, sweet corn, wood or even of bamboo. Breathable fabrics seems totally unknown. India is in a hot climate and there cotton is fine but outside India the climate and people is different. Customer is king and this is the key also for the export business.

Re: Re: Export

This morning I got an offer:

We are a reputed manufacturer and exporter of high fashion garments for women.
Our products are Salwar Kameez, Kurtis, Kaftans, Dress materials, Unstitched salwar suits, skirts, pochos with wide variety.

Who will sell this in Europe North and South America? This is not what the export market needs. We need to study the markets first to know which products will sell more in these markets.

Re: Export

DEAR ROHIT,

YOU SHOULD SEARCH THE GARMENT MANUFACTURER OVERSEAS. YOU SHOULD ALSO CONTACT WITH BIG BRANDS OUTSIDE INDIA.

FOR KNOWING THE GARMENT MANUFACTURER YOU REGISTER YOUR COMPANY IN MANY B2B SITES. YOU POST YOUR VALID INFORMATION IN COMPANY PROFILE. YOU ALSO POST PRODUCT & TREADE LEADS WITH FULL DESCRIPTION ALONG WITH IMAGE.

YOU ALSO SEND YOUR OFFERING TO GARMENT MFG.
