Dubai, UAE: Motexha 2007 took place recently from 19-21 March at Dubai International Exhibition Centre bringing together the region’s leading buyers, brand franchisers, traders, wholesalers, retailers and re-exporters. The three-day exhibition was inaugurated by HE Sheikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director General, Dubai Department of Information. Top manufacturers of leading brands from more than 25 countries exhibited their competitively priced products at Motexha 2007 at the region’s leading fashion products event. The show which is considered as the Middle East region's largest show for Garments, Textiles, Leather & Fashion Accessories once again confirmed its position as the top show of the region with visiting buyers from all over Middle East, Africa & CIS countries.

With Middle East as one of the popular and ever growing trading partner of India, the show has always attracted lots of buyers interested in sourcing goods from India. A number of NRI companies are based in the Middle East who regularly visit the event, and this generates good business opportunities for Indian companies and it has done the same yet again. India has been a popular destination for Garments, Textiles, Leather & Fashion Accessories and the show attracted lots of buyers towards Indian exhibitors.

To promote Indian companies at the popular event, Tradeindia also exhibited at the show for the 2nd successive time. Tradeindia's booth was well visited by buyers who came to collect information about reliable Indian Manufacturers/Suppliers. During all 3 days of the event, Tradeindia  representatives at the show distributed Tradeindia CD ROMs to the visiting buyers who felt that the database would be helpful for them to reach out to quality Indian Suppliers. Just like every other fair where Tradeindia exhibited, tradeindia's popular yellow bags were seen carried by buyers all across the show.
