Hannover Messe, the popular global event for the Engineering Technology sector took place recently at the Hannover Messe Fair Grounds in Hannover, Germany. In trying times, when companies are facing the heat globally, Hannover Messe once again established itself as one of the largest trade shows in the world for technology & products. In total, over 6150 global exhibitors from over 61countries worldwide displayed their latest products & services at this years show.  More than 210,000 trade visitors attended the 5 day gala event. More visitors visited the show than last year, which speaks highly about the quality of the show & advertisers it attracts, especially when globally trade shows are witnessing less visitor traffic, Hannover messe has stood up & showed that a good show is always visited by keen buyers.

This year's event had Korea as the partner country displaying cutting edge industrial technology with 210 strong Korean companies exhibiting at the show. Next Hannover Messe in 2010 will see ITALY as the partner country. One in four visitors to this years show came from abroad. Apart from the host nation of Germany, the biggest visitor contingents came from the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, India, Denmark and Italy respectively. 70% of the foreign visitors were from other European nations, while approximately 19 percent came from Asia and over 7 percent from the American Continents. With its seamless coverage of industrial sectors, its strong international appeal and its unparalleled array of themes, this event is a definite 'must' for countless enterprises. This years event also scored big in terms of the international exhibitors, nearly half of whom came from abroad. Italy, China, South Korea, Turkey and India headed the ranks of foreign exhibiting nations in Hannover this year.
